Meet Luke Severt, LPC!

Luke Severt is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). He initially completed an M.S.Ed in School Counseling in 2008 from the University of Wisconsin River-Falls and continued his education to obtain his LPC thereafter. Early in his career he spent a great deal of time with teens struggling with conduct and oppositional issues. Trained in an array of different therapeutic approaches, he feels the approach utilized is about what works for the client, and not relying on the Counselors “favorite”.

Luke has worked with a vast array of genders, ethnicities, mental health, and socio-economic statuses and has extensive history working with suicidal individuals, those suffering from trauma, and parent-child relational issues. Trained in “Ending the Game” (ETG) He was specifically utilized for an all-female population and prided himself on becoming a safe and trustworthy mentor that specialized in those affected by human trafficking.

In 2019 Luke Severt became certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy which continues to be a passion to this day. Additional training in EMDR such as the flash technique, grief and morning, and Buddhist Psychology, EMDR Therapy & Addictions — The MET(T)A Protocol have furthered his ability utilizing this therapeutic technique.
